12 x silver DTS long-nosed PAR56 cans plus 2 flightcases
Bargain bundle of great professional lights
About this item
This listing is for 12 x PAR56 cans with 2 flightcases. I think they’ve all got relatively new 300w GE MFL lamps and are fitted with IEC plugs.
More details
Let’s face it, we all know what a par can is. You plug it in and get a good powerful boosh of light out. Rock and roll lighting doesn’t get much more traditional than this (well, except these are 56s not 64s!).
I got these several years ago in pretty good condition from an exhibition company that was closing down, so they’ve not been battered about like most pars. I’ve probably only used them on 3 or 4 jobs since, mainly as I’ve got loads of short-nosed par56s that are just more practical for my use. From memory I treated them all to brand new GE MFL lamps when I got them, although I’ve not checked, so hopefully they’ve all got decent lamps that have only done maybe 20 hours each. Of course there may be the odd dings but they’re certainly much better than most used pars you see advertised.
The flightcases are not ‘full-flight’, more of a thick board. Originally used for big old TV screens. Obviously no inserts or anything, so as soon as you tip them the lights are going to crash around, but they are what they are.
They’ve got IEC plugs on them which makes them great to use with Showtec Multidims or similar. Think they’ve all got colour frames in and I suspect a matching set of 12 pink gels from the last time I used them.
I think they’re all DTS cans – a decent budget brand so they’re no James Thomas bulletproof par64, but not a totally flimsy unbranded unit either. Obviously they’ve got 300w lamps in so won’t be as bright as 1k par64 but ideal if you’re not wanting to guzzle the power. These would be ideal for someone who wants a lot of light for not a lot of money – I know I should have sold these several years ago when I’d still have got a half decent amount for them but I really just want them out the way now. They’d be great for a band on a smaller stage, and being long-nosed they do look that bit sexier…
Only 6 are pictured with one flightcase but the others and the other case are in the same condition.
Obviously if you’re genuinely interested in these we should be able to arrange a demo and they can certainly be shown working to the winning bidder.
About me
I’ve been using ebay for nearly 15 years now and have built up excellent feedback by being honest and genuine and would appreciate if you are too. I try to give a thorough and accurate description on my listings. I mostly do lighting for events and occasionally sell things on here, but there can be a slightly random mix of things that are nothing to do with my business!
Shipping
Collection only from central Hampshire on these due to the size and weight. I do sometimes head to random areas of the country so let me know where you are on the off chance I may be able to deliver them myself. I can keep hold of them for a while so no massive rush, but I don’t want to still be working around them in 4 months time!
Payment
I have to accept Paypal (and will do and suffer their fees!), but as this is collection only you could of course choose to help me save a bit by paying cash on collection!
Other stuff
This listing should finish around 7pm on Sun 11th June, so please make a note of that if you’re a last minute type of bidder. Please remember to have a look at my other items.Feel free to ask any questions, I’ll try to answer promptly although sometimes it can take a couple of days.Lastly, remember to enjoy yourselves and bid high to help me make a little money!
