The XLR shells used by our competition on here for a similar item are made in the same factory in china as are probably the resistors soldered inside them so they have no right to claim the quality is lower than theirs.
Price is already reduced for a pair in this advert from 3.80 to save you 40p-Too many silly offers to save 5p more!
Standard postage is Royal Mail second class which currently costs us 0.75 up to 100 grams and this is offered for free.Faster postage is available – contact us for more details…- with this alone there is very little profit on these.

With the costs of purchasing parts to manufacture, postage/packing and ebay/paypal fees the actual profit from this item is tiny.
3-pin xlr – This is not a Neutrik connector but they are of good quality, we have been using these in place of Neutrik for quite some time and they have proven to be as good as the more expensive products – so we can pass on this saving to our customers.Currently the xlr’s being used do not match the photo, they are silver with a black cable gland – new picture to come…
Cheapest on ebay – have checked the prices of those on here and this is definitely the cheapest available.
Due to the cost of postage, connector etc the price has been set higher again as competing with other sellers has meant we have been making a loss on many of the sales on here after the ebay and paypal fees.Ridiculous really that there has been a price war for some time over 1p difference in price on these and the profit made is only pence either way.
If your making an offer on these – this function has been on here for multiple items, not for a single terminator so don’t be suprised if the offer is denied – it’s just not worth our time to supply at a loss and the item is priced cheap already.
A few of the other sellers on here are determined to reduce the value of the product and hence the profits for both them and myself by starting a price war so the price has been dropped once again and the only winner is the buyer – it would make sense to just agree to match (so i just have) each others price and allow the buyer to make the decision on who’s product is more favorable. That’s makes good business sense. Instead, the other seller continues to make claims that this item is superficial to theirs and warns you against buying as you would not be covered in the event of any problems arising in the sale – which is the whole point of ebay and paypal covering you as a buyer so in fact it’s a false claim.There are always a hundred of these in stock at all times ready to ship.We have sold hundreds on ebay over the years, look at the feedback to see all the happy customers and many of these are returning customers.Make up your own mind about who to buy from.
The Xlr comes with a resistor fitted internally to terminate the signal, 100-120 Ohms is the standard rating to fit with all manufacturers specifications for Dmx.
This will stop your lights or dimmers doing ‘funny’ things when the signal is not terminated correctly at the end of the data line.
Often this is the lights 2-3 units back from the end of line that act peculiar but this is different in many rigs.
Why take the chance of having problems when the solution is this cheap?!
These can be used in many types of rigs that use Dmx such as martin, robe, pulsar, clay paky (even though they use a 5-pin xlr – you would need a convertor cable) varilite, zero 88, etc, etc – in fact any rig that uses 3-pin at the end of the dmx data stream can use these.
Postage cost will be combined when buying more than one of these.
Common question – yes, i can supply 5-pin terminators but they will not be a cheap as these as the connector costs more to buy in the first place – contact us for details…

The ‘jamiesmagictorch’ has become the brand name of the testers (google it) and they now come with a lanyard to hang them around your neck or off your tool-belt to make them harder to lose the precious test tool. (terminators do not come with this)
