I have installed these in a number of things with excellent results including DMX dimmers, Lighting desks as well as making stand alone battery powered adapters to add wireless to anything with a 5 pin DMX.
They only require the DMX signal and a 5v supply (a lot of DMX devices have 5v present already if you dig enough)
