The sale is for a pair of JBL horn tweeters (James B Lansing) model 2447J, ideally for PA systems, They were made in the USA. They are compression drivers complete with the long throw horns for large venues. The diaphragm uses a 1.5 inch throat.They were used at wedding parties/ disco dances a few years back and have never been overrun and looked almost new apart from dust and some minor scratches. They have been stored away since I last used them and it is time for me to let go. They have been stored in a smoke free environment.The sound is absolutely clear and crisp from these tweeters and the mids and high frequencies are a beauty to listen to.I used them with a pair of Martin Audio JBL 4560 bass bins and they were a perfect combination and sound absolutely superb.They are 16 ohms and easy to connect to your crossover.They are NOT made of cheap plastic or glass fibre but they are iron casted.The horn flares are made of cast iron and therefore heavy. They can be fitted in cabinets or for permanent installations such as pubs or clubs.I have not got the rest of the equipments such as amplifiers to test them and are being sold as untested and as seen. They were in full working order when they were taken out of their cabinets.As these are electronic gear, I don’t accept return after sale.They are going very cheap starting at 290.00 for the pair. These models are very rare and are being sold at over $800 to $1300 in the States.l and at 590 in the UK.Collection is preferable because of their weight.
