Purchased just over a year ago for a music project that never materialised. The monitor was unboxed and tested with the rest of the studio equipment and then re-boxed with power cable and paper work and comes with a 3 month warranty from GAK (www.gak.co.uk).
The F7 is the bigger of the near field monitors in the brand new F series and has been designed for listening environments with a larger space. The F models feature a newly designed version of ADAM’s highly acclaimed ART tweeter. Slightly smaller than the X-ART tweeter, it is the next step in this continuous evolution in tweeter design. (Please see page 7 for more information.) As the name suggests, the F7 sports a 7″ woofer made from carbon and paper and a 25 mm voice coil. Despite the size of both the woofer as well as the cabinet, the F7 is capable of an astounding deep yet tight bass response. Several controls to adjust the monitors to the environment are located on the rear panel: 2 room EQ’s for both the high (>5kHz) and the low (<300kHz)
