COLLECTION FROM CB6 ONLY–NO POSTING
Hi and welcome to my listing for this proper old school AUSTIN ARMSTRONG 409C MKII amp..
This amp was designed/built in the CAMBRIDGE area early 90s…and its still going STRONG!!
This amp is of course USED and shows signs of use
The UNICASE 6U flight case also included was a later addition,this has done its job great!!
Not overly sure on the tech spec for this amp but from memory it is 300w(rms) x2(4ohm load)
Input is via xlr or standard jack plug
output is via speakon or binding posts,the latter giving you the option to connect up any beefy home audio speakers
There is a bridge mode which means it will push out 600w(rms) thru a single channel
It runs nice and quiet(not silent,but not too loud)
Its quite a heavy amp,some good quality components inside haha..
Was last used a year or so back(hence sale)and
did just what was asked of it!!!!!
I am unable to test prior to listing but would happily demo to buyer if they were to bring a speaker(passive with a speakon connector)along at the time of collection…
If buy it now is used i will also include several speakon leads(approx 6)
