These are two solid,professional grade speaker boxes for sound reinforcement, based on the famous Celestion 8 Ohms G5D-25 speakers
They each have 6 speakers, mounted in a 3×2 formation , froma physical angle butI am not sure how, in what arrangement, they are connected electrically
The boxes themselves have seen better times , especially in terms of looks and there are cracks in the decorative “false leather” skins, and there is quite a bit of “Duct Tape” visible but the speakers sound fine and based on the G5D-25 workhorse, they will, most likely, continue to do so for a long time
The boxes can be easily and reliably stacked, due to specially formed plastic corners, and can be also pole mounted, through the holes in the base, they each have in and out jacks so they can be connected individually, for a stereo setup or can be cascaded /Daisy-chained for more raw power.
Bottom line, if you want great lookers, these speakers don’t make the grade, …
Looks-wise, they are more like grade B or even C but what you need is good work-horses, giving solid loud sound coverage over a wide area, and you are prepared to put up with the looks or even cover the speakers with a lite mesh blanket or keep them under a table and table cloth, then they may be just what you need.
I got them like that, old and ugly, and they served me well
With 6 speakers per box, even if some of the speakers were to blow, there would, most likely, still be a few left to keep the boxes working and save the day.
The boxes sound good and loud but I have not used them in quite a while and now I need to downsize so I am, reluctantly letting them go
