At Simply Sound & Lighting we aim to give our customers a great experience and complete consumer satisfaction. We believe all of the products we sell are excellent but if there happens to be any problems with orders or goods we will resolve them quickly and efficiently. Your tracking details will be added to your order and you will be notified of the expected delivery date by the couriers.
Any claims for damaged or non-delivered items must be made within 48 hours of the delivery or expected delivery date. Please check your parcel before you sign it for – damage occurred or missing parcels cannot be rectified with the courier company if you sign for the parcel. If necessary ask the driver to wait while you open it in front of you.
Terms which apply to mail order consumers as defined in the Consumer protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000. The consumer shall, subject to the terms set out in this clause, have the right to cancel on order within 14 working days from the day after the goods are delivered by Simply Sound & Lighting provided we receive written notice of such cancellation.
If a consumer exercises his/her right to cancel, Simply Sound & Lighting shall reimburse any payment made within 14 days from the date he/she gave such notice of cancellation. The consumer shall not be entitled to a repayment in the event that:-
He/she does not take reasonable care of the goods pre or post cancellation, for the purposes of this clause, a consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the goods if such goods are not kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals and interconnects and the internal or external packaging is damaged in any way or the goods are marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they were sold.
If reasonable care has not been taken (as per requirements above) Simply Sound & Lighting reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee deductible from the refund.
The consumer is responsible for the cost in returning any unwanted items.
If your product is damaged or faulty you must contact Simply Sound & Lighting within 30 days of your order to obtain a returns authorisation number. Without this, your return may not be accepted. Simply Sound & Lighting will work to repair, replace or refund your order as soon as possible. Please note, you will be required to print a postage label.
If you report the damage or fault to Simply Sound & Lighting outside of 30 days from your order, please contact Simply Sound & Lighting for a returns authorisation number. You will then be responsible for transporting the product to our warehouse where we will liaise with the manufacturer to action repairing or replacing the product.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
