Very good condition media player. Fully working.
Latest (and final) operating system installed (which resolved the Cue-slip issue).
Direct drive motorised platter (much better than the previous S5000 and S3000 CD players).
7″ “scratch disc” (I can remove the Traktor sticker if required – coming from a real vinyl background I find it to be a useful visual guide)
It can operate as two independent players, each with its own set of analogue and digital audio outputs (simply press the Layer button to switch control between each of the two audio tracks)
Built in audio effects (Echo/Delay, Flanger, Multimode filter, Dump mode (temporary reverse), Reverse and adjustable brake)
Forward play only switch (mutes backward motion of the platter for faderless “cutting”)MP3 & Wav file compatibility
Only selling due to obtaining a pair of Denon S3700 decks which better suit my needs.

Please be aware that this does not have the optional internal hard disk or CD transport options. Audio files must therefore be played from a USB storage device. Although the 5500 only has one USB port, you can connect multiple storage devices and a USB QWERTY keyboard via a standard 4-way USB hub.
I don’t have the original packaging but it will be securely packed with plenty of protection.
