This auction is for eight Futurelight MH660 moving head spots (spares or repair).
Actually to be honest there are seven MH660’s and one Showtec spot 250, but they are the same unit, and also identical to the Robe Spot 250.
PROBLEMS:
There are actually 2 fully working units in this bundle and with the issues the others are having you could get another 2 – 4 units working just by swapping parts. But these are generally a basic unit to work on, and most of the issues could be fixed with a little time. However, there are two units that don’t power up.
Like a lot of the gear we are selling, we had planned to repair these and continue using them, but just haven’t had the time, and now we need the space.
Issues are as follows.
Unit 1 – Working – All functions work
Unit 2 – Does not power up fully – (Main PCB has no sign of life)
Unit 3 – All functions work except PAN, and has a pan error on the screen
Unit 4 – All functions work except PAN, and has a pan error on the screen
Unit 5 – Working – All functions work
Unit 6 – All functions work except for a colour wheel error.
Unit 7 – Does not power up – blows chassis fuse when lamp strikes
Unit 8 – Working but has tilt error and colour wheel error
We just haven’t had the chance to look at the issues, but in the past most pan or tilt errors have been down to poor contacts on the sensor cables in the unit.
Colour wheel errors are sometimes sensors or a bent wheel.
You could get lucky and have six working lights if you’re willing to spend a little time messing with them.
When they are fully working their spec is pretty much the same as the original Mac 250

We will throw in any spares we have. I think there’s a crate somewhere. We will also give you the six (new sealed) spare lamps we have for them, these are worth 70 each on their own. Worth bidding just for these.
I’ll also give you any clamps we have for them.
The flight cases come with them, so you’ll need a van to collect. One pair fit in each case, so there are 4 cases.
