This particular one has not taken the gold finish as we would hope and has some dull areas, as such it has been rejected by us for normal sale but we can now offer it as a factory second – with our assurance it will still function perfectly!
We have been manufacturing and selling these for over ten years following the realisation that at that time there were no wingnut spanners commercially available to professional lighting crew! They have remained unchanged from their original design and have become the standard issue for thousands of technicians all over the world.
They were designed to fulfill the daily needs of life on the road without needing multiple tools, they deal with most standard hookclamps, halfcouplers, M10 and M12 fixings, sticky shackle pins, moving light clamps and of course they make an ideal beverage release tool too.
Over the years new designs have arrived from other manufacturers but still this design stands above the rest and mostly importantly remains in our own toolkits and remains super useful on all scales of job, from a couple of push up stands in a small hall to arenas with hundreds of fixtures.
Please remember though, very tight does not mean very safe! Please ensure you are using the correct clamp for the rigging task at hand and be careful not to damage the pipe or truss on which your rig relies.
