Hercules 4-MX Digital USB Console
4-Decks in One! This is my Hercules 4-MX digital USB DJ console. I’ve owned it from new and it’s been fantastic and has punched well above its weight for what some consider to be a ‘budget’ DJ console. As you can hopefully tell from the pictures I have done my best to look after this amazing machine and as a result it is in really quite superb condition!The console itself is capable of playing up to 4 digital decks via the Virtual DJ software. It can also be mapped on to other popular DJing software. Add to this a full set of EQs, kill switches, basic effects and even the ability to connect another 2 decks (turntable/CDJ/iPod etc.) and you’ve got something a bit special. I’ve used this console exclusively for mobile DJ disco parties which means it’s only really ever been used as a fancy sound card – I’ve never used it for mixing tracks (not needed to) and the plastic protectors on the wheels are actually still in place from new. When not in use it has always been in the protective bag (included). I’ve recently traded up to something quite a bit more expensive so this is now surplus to requirements and is up for grabs!It comes fully boxed with everything you see; 4-MX console, user manual, software (Virtual DJ LE), USB cable, carry bag.

It comes fully boxed with all the original contents. It is clean and doesn’t have a mark on it. The carry bag has some very minor signs of use but no damage. Please note: the Virtual DJ LE software licence is linked to my Virtual DJ account and cannot be transferred. However, Virtual DJ is completely free to download and use and you will only need to pay for the software if you choose to use it commercially (play in clubs etc.) I also recommend downloading the software and drivers directly from the Hercules website so you have the most up to date versions.
The only issue I can come up with is I’ve noticed that I have to press the right ‘stop’ button a fraction harder than I used to. All other buttons, knobs and sliders are great.
