This is a fantastic sounding, compact and portable p a system designed and set up by Acoustics International of Park Royal, London back in the mid 80s when there was nothing on the market which would deliver the required clarity and quality of speech and vocals. It cost a lot of money back then, but would continue to deliver the goods for a long time to come- and it still does!(And the kits are still available at reasonable prices to upgrade/recondition if needed in the future!)It was designed from the outset so that it could be run active or passive, but I have only ever run it as a passive system with a Yamaha front endI will include the active crossover and Krimson Electrik amp for the horns and all the necessary leads (which have never been used).Horns are JBL 2420s and bins are 15″ K140s plus acoustic wadding with Mega passive crossovers in the bins- and sound beautiful!Several sets of leads are included, as are wooden front covers for the horns and scruffy rexine covers for the bins (but they do help maintain the high standard fabric on the bins)Also included are two very heavy duty ‘top hat’ stands for the bin/horn arrangement which can go either side of a stage, extending from
51″ to 72″ in height, and which also fold down into a storage bag for portability purposesBins measure 23″ by 30″ by 22″ deep(much smaller than 4560 bins!)Horns measure 24″ by 9″ by 19″ deepYou won’t be disappointed with this set up, which has never let me down and continues to impress me every time I have used it- in whatever sized venuePower is difficult to remember, but I think 50 watts for the horns and 100 for the bins- they are probably upgrade-able to higher power figures nowadays- but they have always been more than adequate for my band even in large hallsSadly, retirement looms, hence the sale. Pick up (and demo) from Stourbridge, West Midlands DY8 only, and cash preferred tooAny questions to 07966 263412
