I have for sale a Numark Mixtrack Platinum DJ Controller, complete with a Decksaver.
This is being sold as a pre-owned item, and the general condition is very good. One thing to note though, is the missing MIC Gain knob. Unfortunately, that has been mislaid, although an alternative can possibly be fitted, if required. There is a minor sign of marking/rub off of paint from the “Numark” & “serato” logos, the latter as seen in Photo No. 5. This is where the Decksaver has sat. I can’t see no other blemishes, other than those aforementioned.
It’s worth mentioning that there is a slight hum/buzz sound whilst cueing via the headphones, when no track is being played. It’s an apparent known issue and is not noticeable whilst music is playing. I haven’t noticed if it’s also present on the Main Output going to the amplifier.
This item does not have it’s original packaging, nor any printed material (user manuals can be downloaded from the Numark Website). There is no DJ software supplied, either.
The Mixtrack Platinum however, is fully compatible with Serato Intro (a free download), Serato DJ, Virtual DJ 8 and Djay Pro to name a few. Therefore, if you already own any of these DJ software programs, then it should be a plug and play process. I have used it with DJay Pro with no problems.
There is a built-in Soundcard, and the whole thing is powered by a single USB lead from the laptop. No external power supply is required.
The reason for selling is due to my upgrade to the Numark NS6 II when it’s released shortly…
