The Hog Scoop cabinet is a high output hybrid loading bass cabinet designed by the renowned Open Source designer Staipe Ercegovic.
These cabinets have become renowned the world over for producing large quantities of tightly controlled and well defined Sub Bass. These cabinets are a hybrid loading that lies somewhere between a rear loaded horn “aka Scoop bin” and a tapped horn. The energy from the rear of the driver is utilized by means of a relatively small resonance chamber mated to a long (around 2.8m) horn with a moth termination that uses the whole cabinet front encompassing the driver within it. These are suited to a wide range of musical genres if used correctly but have gained a particularly large following and no. of users in the dance music scene.
