***UPDATE***I have managed to find an old DMX cable to cannibalise and have now tested the DMX function. It all appears to be working fine when plugged into my lighting desk.
The clear-out continuesYou are bidding on 1x Lightprocessor Paradim Qpack install wall dimmer with 15a sockets and a 32a power lead. This style of dimmer is listed at over 1000 new from a well known lighting and sound website.This was purchased in a larger job lot of theatre equipment from a school that was getting a new build. I am selling these on behalf of the school I work for. I do have other items listed including lights, dimmers, lighting desk, curtains/drapes and some tiered seating. The dimmer does show a couple of small signs of wear and tear but seems to be in full working order. When plugged in the dimmer goes through a self test then displays the usual ‘Paradime ready’. As with the other dimmers listed the DMX was hard wired to another dimmer (see picture 3) and a separate DMX box which in turn was linked to the desk, so does have two trailing DMX wires (see picture 6). The channel test function indicates that all the channels work but I cant test the DMX input as of yet. If I get chance and can find a spare cable to cannibalise I will wire it in and test it.The cables at the rear of the dimmer have no cable gland to hold them securely (guess this is because it was installed) and does have an extra earth wire trailing as well as the two cut DMX leads that joined to other dimmers (see pictures 5-7)I also have 3x15a patch panels that went with the dimmers listed and could include them for an extra price or will list them at some point in the future.I would advise that the dimmer is checked by someone competent before being used for electrical safety as the pat test labels are a few years out of date.
