PEAVEY XR 800D Powered Mixer Desk & 2 PEAVEY Eurosys3 15″ SPEAKERS (plus 2 long speaker leads). Also with a pdf of the manual. I thought I had the original printed manual that it came with too, but can’t find it now…. if it turns up it will be included

This p.a. has been well gigged over the years and has picked up some damage that I have listed below, but it would still be a great starter vocal p.a. set up for a band gigging in up to medium sized pubs & clubs, or for use in a rehearsal space. This isn’t the modern plastic Peavey stuff, it was made in the early 90s in the USA, when Peavey was about the best p.a. gear available at semi-pro level prices. It is really solid steel and wood construction with big transformers and this lot was over 1100 back then. There are loads of signal routing & expansion options so loads of scope for learning how to operate and engineer a bigger studio or live desk. Rated output is 100W per side into the 8 Ohm speakers here or 200W per side into 4 Ohm speakers but it seems more than that in practice.

I have set a really low start price for the desk and speakers so this could be a real bargain for a band needing gig-able pa on a tight budget! I have had it since almost new – in fact the speakers were new but the desk was an ex- demo unit, all bought from a Peavey dealers around 1994

It has some damage that I have listed below and is clear in the photos, but all 8 channels function and can be used in some way, just some are more limited: There are still enough options  for most pub / club band applications. I expect most of this could be fixed but probably not worth the cost unless you can diy to be honest. At this age and price it has to be sold as seen – but all issues below are down to damage in transit not component failure and it has been very reliable for me.2 XLR inputs have lost their plastic centres. They still work for XLR plug input but the sockets could be easily damaged so I generally use these for things like instruments that use a 1/4″ jack input. Everything works on these channels.2 channel main sliders have lost their plastic knobs but function normally. Everything works on these channels. On 1 channel the slider knob is missing completely. The slider can be moved with a small screwdriver – with unit off! So if I need to use this one I have the slider set to high volume all the time and control volume with the input gain knobOne effects master rotary knob has broken but shaft can easily be turned and this rarely needs adjusting.
