PIONEER DJM 800 MIXER – WELL USED, HAS HAD A REPLACEMENT CROSSFADER – WORKING ORDER
Classic Pioneer 4 channel mixer with excellent sound quality and fantastic effects. It has been well used in the past.
All lights, buttons, faders and rotary pots work smoothly and crackle free, apart from the headphone volume rotary as it is a little temperamental and it feels a bit loose, but if you ensure it is pressed down a little when turning it, it works fine.
Cosmetically it has seen better days and has marks, scratches and signs of wear on the faceplate. The rubber on the gain eq knob grips has been removed due to excessive wear. Some of the other eq rotaries are also showing signs of wear too as pictured. As well as this, some of the rotary knobs have been replaced with non-Pioneer knobs. 3 of the channel fader knobs have been replaced with different knobs that do not fit as snugly on the fader stem, but are still usable and the cross fader knob has been replaced with an Allen and Heath one, which fits fine. The mixer has just had a brand new non-genuine crossfader.
Other than the headphone volume rotary being a little temperamental as mentioned above, essentially it all works fine. Because of this and the cosmetic issues mentioned above, I have heavily discounted the mixer from it’s usual selling price on here. I would say that this mixer is still perfectly fine for home use, which is what I have been using it for.
The unit comes as pictured with power lead only. No original box but will be well bubblewrapped and packaged for safe transit. I will take photos of the packaging before sending for peace of mind that it has been bubblewrapped to death before handing over to the couriers. I will also make a full video demo of the unit before despatch to ensure and show it is fully working for further peace of mind all round.
