The AB 2 is a high-quality frequency-selective antenna booster for increasing the RF signal strength when operating several Sennheiser evolution wireless series receivers with a single pair of antennas via the ASP 2 passive antenna splitter. The antenna boosters are powered via the NT 1 power supply unit of the ASP 2. Proper function of the antenna booster is indicated by a red LED.In order to compensate for possible signal losses due to long antenna cables, up to two AB 2 can be connected in the antenna cable line: one AB 2 is directly connected to the antenna (e.g. A 1031-U), the second AB 2 is connected to the ASP 2 antenna splitter. The supply voltage is distributed from the first AB 2 to the second (DC-coupled).
