Simms Watts columns PA 2 X 12 amp amplifier with hornsSPARES or REPAIR please read on:For sale as spares or repair 2 retro TWO simss Wattscolumns suitable for a PA or guitar or Disco etc. These have a proper mojo and thecabs are in good condition for the age.Even if you dont use them they wouldlook a great visual effect in front of a modern PA amp or disco etc .. just to give that retroimage. All four speakers test out at 8 ohms with a meter as do the 4 hornsso there are no open circuit coils.Each pair of horn has a hi pass filter using the classic banded capacitors. The top 12 inch speaker in both columns seemsto be rubbing a bit . The bottom one seems fine . Pretty sure they are Celestion or Fane speakers so they could be worth a bit on their own. Pls study the numbers on there sides. Fabric looks fine and both have carrying handles. These are for spares orrepair , I have not put any audio through them. If you want to arrange your owncarrier or get me to do it please ask after the auction.
