For auction 6x Strand Patt s.64 Stage flood battens. Sold as Seen.
8 lamps per unit, wired in parallel pairs with 15amp plugs and trailing sockets for linking.
They have been used in a small amateur theatre, and were fully working when removed from the rig last year but no guarantees given as they have been in storage since then.
Picture gives general idea of the condition – some are painted green and some are black. Paintwork is scuffed, and there are various marks and paint splatters on them. Dust and cobwebs on the inside as well.
Some of the units have gel frames fitted, some don’t. 150w GLS bulbs are fitted but again no guarantees as to whether they work or not.
Although technically ‘obsolete’, these lights have a variety of potential applications – eg for stage lighting in smaller venues, school halls and churches. Or alternatively used for general lighting in bars, theatre foyers etc, they have standard E27 bulb sockets so could easily be fitted with modern LED / CFL bulbs if desired.
Obviously, due to the sheer size and weight of these things, the winning bidder will need to collect them in person, with a suitable size vehicle to transport them.
Being sold as we no longer have a use for them and they are taking up valuable storage space, hence the low starting price of 100.
