TECHNICS SL-1200GAE

I have for sale a brand new, unopened Technics SL-1200GAE turntable. It comes in it’s original fully sealed box with the original receipt dated 13 August 2016, from Panasonic Store Brighton and therefore covered under guarantee by them (not sure for how long).
The SL-1200GAE is the ultimate Technics turntable. It’s ultra rare, only 1200 were made worldwide and the 300 that were allocated to the UK sold out on pre-order before they even arrived in the UK. The unique edition number is visible on an engraved plate, 0936 in this case.

Previous versions of the SL-1200 were capable of competing with hi-end hi-fi turntable but only with significant modifications being made. These issues have been addresses in the SL-1200GAE.The tonearm, it’s previous weak link, has been re-designed.Only this limited edition version has a magnesium tonearm (the standard version will have an aluminium arm).
