Here we have for sale my Technics SL1210 M3D in fantastic overall condition.
Owned it from new.
Trivia:
SL-1200M3D (released in 1997) has a silver finish like the MK2, a detached dust cover (no hinges), and no self-locking detent (“click”) at the zero point of the pitch adjustment slider, allowing more precise control of pitch near that point. It has a reset button that sets the pitch adjustment to 0, regardless of the actual position of the pitch adjustment slider. In addition, the M3D series has unique details: the brand and model label is printed in a single line instead of two, and the stroboscopic light is red with a slightly orange tone. This model also introduced a slot near the counterweight allowing for storage of a second headshell.
SL-1210M3D is the same as the SL-1200M3D except with a matte black finish like the MK2 and a voltage switch.
It has some minor marks only as expected from a player at this age. It is in perfect condition. Fully working. It has had a routine service and upgrades couple of years ago.
The tonearm is perfect, every function is working.
All lights are fine. All knobs working. The pitch adjustment works as needed.
Very precise player.
It has an audiophile RCA cable update from years ago. Made a difference.
It has never been abused or misused.
The only bad thing that happened to it approx 5 years ago, I stepped on the lid while it was placed on the floor and it has cracked. Was glued and it’s at the back of it. I got a replacement that is perfect and spotless. I am sending the original lid as well.
It has the DJ goodies with it.
It comes with the extra 4g weight.
I include a Stanton 500 MK2 cartridge. No needle. Easy to replace if needed.(15-20 pounds) Very good for the money.
I can’t really understand why it looks dusty on the photos when it is clean and not dusty so please don’t judge it. I guess the lens worked as microscope as I cut the images. Also, the lid has no discoloration, its caused by the filter.
It is from a non-smoking no pet no children household.
