To check your existing firmware version
With the power off on the rere of your Technics DZ SL-1200.
press the “SAMPLE PAD 1” and the “EXECUTE” together
while holding the buttons pressed turn on the power swich
on the rere of the Technics DZ SL-1200 and hold for at least 5 seconds.
The firmware version will display on the centre screen.
If the version displayed is 2.3 no update is necessary.
If the firmware displayed is 2.2 or lower you may install
the firmware update following the instructions and precautions
set out in section 11 of the service manual.
once installed you can not revert to the earlier firmware version.
