Vestax VCI 380 inc Dustcover + Serato DJ License + 2000+ DnB Tracks, 1500+ Deep House Tracks.
This is a brilliant first controller, and supports Serato DJ, a fantastic piece of software which I learnt to DJ with.
Controller:
Brought brand new last year. Has had minor use in bedroom. I recon around 50 hours use. The controller is in good condition, has some minor wear on the plastic silver banding around the corners of the controller. This is shown in the photos. Also the paint on the bottom of the controller is nicked very slightly.
The master volume knob is not functional. The controller came like this, but because you can control the master volume on the software, and also via the pre-trim and trim knobs, this was never a problem. All other knobs and buttons are working correctly, and in excellent condition. The faders all work correctly, with no problems and feel like new. I always kept the music playing within the green/safe volume levels. I have kept good care of the controller, using a dust cover when not in use. I am a non smoker. The controller feels like new apart from that master volume knob which just has never worked. (The data send LED doesnt report that a electronic signal is being sent when the master volume knob is being used, this may be a easy repair, but I am not a electrician so I haven’t investigated the problem. For me I just either set the volume in the software or the pre-trims and kept it there, or just turned up the volume via my sound system, the master knob is not working but in the 12 o clock position, so this really wouldnt be a problem for you to use the controller.) The jocky wheels feel good and quiet.
Dust Cover: The dust cover has some scuffs but no cracks or heavy scratching.
Software: Full Serato DJ software. this would cost you $99 for full key, I will send a email to Serato DJ with your details to take over the key upon purchase. Yes Serato allow this.
Music Tracks: I will include in the sale 12 CDs of Drum and Bass, and Deep House. There is more than 3500 tracks within these 12 CDs.
Yes the master volume knob doesn’t work, it really isn’t a problem when you can change the master volume via pre-trim (on top edge of board where you plug in cables) when using as a standalone mixer, the software when your using it as a midi controller, and on your sound system. I have kept good care of this controller and has seen minimal home use, comes with dust cover and full software, plus original packaging.
This package would be great for someone who is first starting off, all you would need is a PC, headphones and a very basic set of speakers (any aux connected speakers will work)to get going.
Reason for selling, I now have XDJ1000 and standalone mixer.
(The last velocity buttons lights either side do work, I just didnt time taking the photo very well, they light up very briefly one after the other)
