Yamaha has once again succeeded in bringing out a speaker series with outstanding quality. This DXR/DXS series was inspired by the successful DSR series. The different active speakers in this DXR/DXS series are available in different sizes. Each active speaker can be combined with this powerful 15-inch subwoofer. All products from the DXS series are finished with extremely high quality and can definitely take a beating!
The DXS 15: a 15-inch powerhouse!
This is the biggest subwoofer in the DXR/DXS series, and is housed in an acoustically-optimised band-pass enclosure. The D-class amplifier is good for up to 950 watts of power. The subwoofer has different frequency modes, and via the DX sub setting you can reach extremely low frequencies from 45Hz to 160Hz. You also have the additional choices of boosting or expanding low frequencies.

The specifications of the DXS subwoofers don’t lie: The amplifier packs a punch with a whopping 950 watts of dynamic power! The subwoofer can be connected via the double XLR input. The dimensions are 478 mm (W) x 618 mm (H) x 624 mm (D), and it weighs 38 kg. There is also a 35-mm opening on the top of the cabinet for subwoofer poles.
