Good dmx Red only Bad or no dmx Green only Bad or no dmx Yellow only Bad or no dmx Any combination of 2 L.E.D.s Bad or no dmx No L.E.D.s Bad or no dmx Read the review on ebay to see the difference between the single, twin and three l.e.d. versions available and why you should keep the terminator circuit seperate for accurate fault diagnosis – you will clearly see that this version is by far superior.
Now comes with a free Black lanyard to hang the tester round your neck.
This is the tester that the professionals use to determine faults with dmx circuits, i have been making and supplying them for over 15 years and have made hundreds of them. Works with any desk, dimmer or light that uses dmxincluding Avolites, high-end, martin, clay paky, coemar, vari*lite,pulsar to name but a few. The tester is a 3-pin xlr and has three l.e.d.s displaying the varied faults.Basically all 3 led’s on and/or flashing is good.The red and green led’s show the positive and negative poles of the data stream, the yellow led shows the earth insulation and the refresh rate of the data stream.
Arguably one of the best on the market for the price and i supply these regularly to freelance touring crews from theatre’s, academy’s to stadiums.

Also not having a termination circuit in the tester allows better fault finding – we also sell terminators in our other adverts…

They also work with reversed Dmx protocols such as Pulsar (PMX), and Martin (RS 485)I have a number of these made up ready, i have stoppedusing Neutrik but use a substitute connector of equal quality instead.The tester supplied in this auction does not terminate thesignal, it is used only to test the dmx signal, terminators and testersare two seperate items and you can find more faults without combining the two. This has been made clear on this auction so remember you arebidding to win, if your not sure which product you need email me and iwill tell you what you need and explain the differences further.Equivalent products available from other manufacturers aremore expensive than my price – take for example the artistic licenseline-light which is 26 for 3-pin and 29 for 5-pin and is arguably notas good in practice.
