One white Genelec 8331 monitor purchased from an authorised dealer in January 2018 and delivered April 2018. It comes with the standard 5 year warranty so more than 3 years left for peace of mind. Together with the 8341 this is the smallest three way monitor on the market that accepts either analogic (XLR) or digital (AES&EBU) inputs. It can be calibrated with a GLM kit (not included).
It is a significant step up from the likes of LS50 Wireless – please check out Darko’s review for the 8341 here https://darko.audio/2018/02/genelecs-the-ones-8341-think-inside-the-box/. The 8341 is the more powerful monitor but it shares the same sound signature, only 8341 goes louder and lower so 8331 would match well a smaller room, a desktop etc. I have had the 8341 as well and, with a sub, there is little to tell the two apart.
The white monitors cost extra and they are made on special order, meaning at least 6 weeks of wait from the time of placing the order (I had to wait for three months!).
This one has been used lightly in a 5.1 system as centre channel. It is sold in the original box, with power cables, ethernet cable, leaflets. It is in mint condition, with no marks or scratches, and sounding beautifully.
Selling as not getting enough use – I mainly listen to stereo music nowadays.
Again, this listing is for one (mono) monitor only, you will need two of these for a stereo system.
