This monitor speaker is designed for Dance music producers and DJs, the S-DJ50X is an active monitor that is highly capable of delivering a high quality sound, with forward thinking technology you would expect from Pioneer.
The Pioneer S-DJ50X takes sound reproduction techniques from its pro-audio brand TAD to guarantee this speaker delivers a highly accurate sound. The inclusion of the new pro technology translates to a speaker that performs extremely well, with a tight, driving low end and super crystal clear highs.
The 5 woofer is created from an extremely stiff, aramid fibre material and this is mounted directly on to thick baffles that enables the speaker to deliver a tight and punchy kick and boundless bass even at high volume levels. The Pioneer S-DJ50Xs have bi-amplification from class AB amplifiers to drive the woofer and its 1 soft dome tweeter that are individually optimised for a truly well balanced sound.
This monitor will fit into any DJ or studio set-up thanks to its wide range of inputs, plus a high frequency and volume control. This speaker also has an auto standby feature which allows the speaker to turn itself off when no sound signal is sent to it and turns back on again when sound is re-activated.
Pioneer set out to make an impact on the active studio monitor market without breaking the bank, and they certainly did that and then some more with the S-DJ50X.
