Items are cleaned prior tolisting where required, and any Electricals are PAT tested, (portable appliancetesting), and details logged as required, some stepped power plugs do notrequire testing due to their low voltage. The PAT test will confirm the item isin a good, safe order at the time of the test. Cookers cannot be PAT tested,due to the nature of the cable, and we recommend buyers ensure a qualifiedelectrician installs the item.
Fridges, Freezers and WashingMachines are tested prior to listing, which includes ensuring ice forms whererequired, items cool, and washing/spin cycles are tested.
ReturnsPolicy
Returns are accepted under theebay rules and Kent Re-Users own policy, the buyer remains responsible for anycosts incurred in returning the item unless faulty or damaged in transit. Ifcollected or delivered, please ensure you are happy with the item prior toeither leaving with the item, or accepting it. We do not provide discounts orrefunds without returning items.
Items purchased may be returnedwithin 30 days of the item being collected or delivered. A full refund(including any postage costs, where applicable) will be offered providing theitem is returned in the same condition as purchased, including any packaging,boxes, manuals, keys, power leads or any other item associated with the item inquestion shown or detailed in the listing. If you are unhappy with anypurchase, please contact us as soon as possible by Ebay message.
Delivery& Postage/Courier Costs
Items with Royal Mail or Courierdelivery charges quoted, or stating free delivery, will take precedence overour own delivery charges. If the item is too large to post via Royal Mail, orcourier, we do offer delivery as follows.
We can deliver items that have asale price of 20.00 or more, or a combination of items with a total sale valueof 20.00 or more, within the Kent area as follows:
Items that can be lifted by oneperson 10.00,
Items that require two personslift 20.00.
Large/Heavy items requiring threepersons lift, i.e Pianos, Safes etc 30.00
Please contact us if you requirea delivery outside of the Kent area, our vehicles do not meet the Ultra LowEmissions Zones requirements, surcharges/tolls will be payable in these Zonesand will need to be added to the delivery charge.
Deliveries are only made duringworking hours at a mutually convenient date/time. Please note some longdistance destinations may require an overnight accommodation charge, wherehealth and safety would require a sleep break.
We are also happy for customersto arrange their own courier to collect, please ensure our contact details arepassed onto the courier to enable collection to be arranged. Most couriercompanies will only accept an item if it is boxed or packaged, unless a privateman & van courier, please contact us first to ensure the item in questioncan be packaged. We are unable to accept any liability for items damaged orlost once collected by a courier arranged by the purchaser.
Items sent via Royal Mail orHermes/UK Mail will be packaged to the best of our ability using bubblewrap/plastic covering/padded envelopes where appropriate. Liability for loss intransit cannot be accepted unless written notification (email/message issufficient), is received within 7 days of despatch. All items are despatchedwithin 3 working days or sooner of the item ending or payment being received.Please notify us of any damage in transit within 48 hours of receipt.
The General Managers decisionwith regard to providing refunds is final and every effort will be made toensure customer satisfaction within the above parameters.
Collections
Collections for successfulbidders are available Monday and Thursday 9:00am 16.30pm excluding BankHolidays, which is a Tuesday after the Bank Holiday. We aim to arrangecollections around deliveries and house/office clearances, which we undertakeon Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays. We will try to be as flexible aspossible, but cannot arrange collections on Sundays or Bank Holidays, and areunable to arrange evening collections. If you wish to collect on one of ourdays allocated for clearances/deliveries, please contact us and we can arrangea collection at a specific time during the day where possible.
Please refrain from purchasing items and thenmessaging to advise you can only collect on an evening or a Sunday. We will try to be as flexible as possible butunfortunately, it is not cost effective to open the office outside of workinghours when the cost will far outweigh the value of the item purchased. It isalways best to contact us prior to purchase if you are unable to collect duringour working hours.
All items must be collected within two weeks of purchase, unless alater date has been agreed by Management prior to purchase. We are not able to be a storage facility,space is limited.

Payment
Payment and collection must beachieved within 14 days of the item ending. If you would like us to hold theitem (s) for a longer period, please contact us prior to purchase.
If no contact has been receivedwithin 5 days of the auction ending, and no arrangement for payment has beendiscussed, a non-payment case will be opened with Ebay.
Items purchased and paid for bypaypal, which have not been collected or contact made within 60 days of theitem ending, will be re-sold without refund.
We are happy to accept payment bycash on collection or delivery, or via Paypal. Items can also be paid for bycredit or debit card upon collection. Ebay will commence their own paymentservice from July 2020, this means any electronic payment is automaticallycredited to Ebays own account, we have to wait a few working days for thepayment to be credited to our Bank Account. Ebay will charge for each itemrather than Paypals per transaction charge, we would like to avoid Ebays newsystem, and increased charges, therefore if you wish to pay via paypal pleasecontact us prior to payment so we can send a paypal invoice.
If you make a mistake with apurchase or bid and change your mind prior to the item ending, or after theitem has ended, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements forthe purchase or bid to be cancelled via Ebay. It is an easy process and willnot affect your feedback in any way.
