– Purchased brand new in June 2016, since then the channel EQ knobs have been replaced (Sept 2020)
– Light signs of cosmetic wear & tear are present (see photos, mainly around filter envelopes & light scratches on the display screen)
– It has never been used in a club
– The mixer is working how you would expect it to
Having tested it there are however two things worth pointing out:
a) The 1.5mm stereo headphone jack socket (bottom left of mixer) can sometimes have connectivity issues. This has never been a problem for me as I always use the 3.5mm stereo socket instead.
b) The the filter sound/colour FX knob on channel three can occasionally offset the effect by a very small amount – what I mean is that you can occasionally hear the effect slightly kicking in at the 12 o’clock neutral position (there is likely a way of recalibrating this I just don’t know how to).
This is not a big deal for me as I set enveloped knob right/left first and then press the sound/colour FX button only when actually wanting to activate it as opposed to leaving it constantly turned on. (Hope that makes sense?)
I mention the above to be absolutely clear about any perceived ‘flaws’ with this second hand unit (I’m a law student). Overall, I don’t think the above points are of much concern and certainly won’t hinder the use of the mixer. Cash collection is encouraged so that the buyer can see the unit working and test it prior to purchase. Otherwise I will pack and send the mixer insured, in its original packaging within 24 hours of having received payment.
