After upgrading my sound system recently, I could no longer accommodate the Urei or two turntables. so i have finally made the decision to sell my Urei 1620. It has been carefully stored since it was last serviced.
I am the original owner and I have loved and cared for it for 27 years.
The provenance that this baby affords is unmatched for a privately owned piece of engineering prowess.
This was the last original Urei 1620 to be sold in New York in 1993.Benji Candelario and Danny ‘Buddah’ Morales very kindly brought it over to the UK for me.
During the last 27 years this Urei has been played by the legendary Louis Vega from Masters at Work, Ricky Morrison, Chrissy T and the creator of The Ministry of Sound Justin Berkman, plus a few other well known DJ’s.
The Urei has been serviced twice and last time was by Mr Bozak himself.
The only modification it has had is an extra phono output, so it can play 3 turntables.
There are two small marks, which can be seen in Pic 2 – dent in House dial and in Pic 4 – small scratch on left hand side.
