So I have decided to sell my PA system because I cant ever see me using it again. THIS AUCTION IS FOR 1 MACKIE THUMP 18S ACTIVE SPEAKER.The rest of the system will be sold on separate auctions. 2 years ago I met a bunch of like minded lads and we decided that what our town (Hinckley) was missing was a decent House and Techno night! So we found a venue, created a brand and started a night! The guys thought the equipment I owned at the time we met would be up to the job but I didnt agree. For our first gig I ended up driving to York and purchasing these Mackie SRM650 speakers. They sounded awesome along with the Mackie Thump 18inch sub I already had (which is also up for sale).For the next gig I purchased a second Mackie Thump 18inch sub. This complimented the system perfectly and sounded fantastic! I really enjoyed listening to my system pumping out the tunes for the revellers, but it did turn me into that annoying bloke that tells the Djs to turn it down and watch their levels! After a grand total of 3 gigs though, the bar decided to sell up and turn into an Italian restaurant. This was about a year ago now so the speakers have been in a storage locker since! The SRM650s and 1 of the Thump Subs Id say have had about 20 hours use. The other sub about 14 hours use so not even fully warn in! But yes its time to sell and let someone else feel the bass! I have 2 Mackie SRM 650 tops and 2 Mackie Thump 18s subs for sale. Happy to sell separate or in pairs or sell the whole lot. Drop me a message if interested. Pics to follow. I will throw in speaker stands, power cables and even some XLR cables so your all good to go.Anyone serious about purchasing any of this kit that would like to listen first is welcome to do so. Although I would need time to arrange collection from the storage facility. Also due to the size and weight of this kit it would be collection only. The subs are pretty big but would fit in the back of an estate or small van obviously. Any questions feel free to ask!
