check out any instruction guide to set your anti-skate and you will be told you need a blank disc (without grooves) – problem is no one makes them for this purpose and they are hard to get!
So I have raided My DJ collection for one-sided discs, you will get a 12″ record with a blank side (no grooves) which is exactly what you need to set up your anti-skate – the record will be clean and ready to use, keep it safe at one end of your collection so you know where it is if you need to check the turntable at any time
The record will have music on the other side and may have a design on the label, sorry I have not made a note of what and some are white label so I don’t know what the music is!
