Wharfedale Pro PA System PM600 Powered Mixer + 2x PT-12 (Passive) Speakers + Mic – COLLECTION ONLY
PM600 Mixer:
6-Channel Powered Mixer capable of 230Watts @ 4Ohms. (For those who don’t know Ohm’s law, running both of the 8Ohm speakers from this powered speaker in parallel will give a load of 4Ohms, so the whole system is capable of pushing out 230Watts Max).
Features:
Channels 1-5: Mic XLR / Line inputs. Channel 6: Stereo Phono /Line Input
Each channel has Volume, (EFX Effects Send), Low and High EQ (+/- 15dB)
Master Section has Volume, and 3-band EQ +/- 15dB. Built-in effect is a cheesy Karaoke echo sound. I never used the efx send/return on this mixer or the phono connectors in the master section.
PT-12 Speakers:
Impedance 8 Ohms. 150 Watts Continuous Power Handling. Can be mounted on stands, but I never did. They just rested on shelves and cases. Could also be tilted on their side and used as stage wedges.
I have never opened the speaker cabinets up to see what model of drivers it has, so please don’t ask. They work fine and have not been changed from the stock models.
Comes with 2x TS Jack leads to connect the speakers (nothing special, but these are the original cables and they still work fine). Also comes with a hand-held/stand-held dynamic microphone – again, nothing special but if you need a mic to rehearse with, it works fine.
PA + Speakers
I bought the whole setup brand new around 2005/06. I am the sole owner. It has not been gigged but used extensively as a PA for band rehearsals during the past decade. It has served me well in countless rehearsals in the garage for vocals, keyboards, and occasionally backing tracks, but sadly needs to go now. Has 5 mic channels and 1 channel for phono/lead inputs.
Individual volume and basic eq, master volume and effects section. Basic, but does the job well. Has withstood cold and hot conditions and still works exactly as it did when I first bought it.
