Citronic Trent 1 (Fitted with Trent 11 Front Plate) Twin Turntable Disco Decks
These are quite rare, there cannot be many Trents left, so its very collectable Continuing my trimming down of things I own, I dont need multiple sets of disco decks, so I am selling some
This is a Trent 1 and in pretty good conditionThe Trent 1 is basically the upper half of the Kennet, and actually liftable, as anyone who owns a Kennet, as I do, knows you almost need a forklift to move oneSo this is has no amplifier fitted, so runs off a slave amp, which of course is not included with itI brought this a few months back off the guy that brought it new, and he then added CS300D turntables later on, which are certainly not the worlds best turntables! My intention was to extend the frame at each end and fit Technics to it, and then refurbish the frame at the same time, but I have other decks and will do this to another oneI guess age wise this is around 1973/1984 vintage, but I could be a year or two outThe Trent Stand its stands on is also included, but its missing one front bar, but this seems to make no difference to it, and its very stable and neat. The stand could do with rubbing down and repaintingAs well as the stand there is a Very Substantial Transit Case includedSo what you get is the Trent 1 Decks, with the Trent 11 Front Plate, Mains Lead, Trent Stand and Transit CaseThere are some marks on the frame behind where the turntable lid hinges would have been fitted, but this is easily fixed
Most importantly, this will play All Northern Soul Records. This is to keep all those on the Facebook group.. Double Deck Consoles from Citronic & Others happy, as decks that play Northern Soul seem to be worth 10x those that dontwell at least thats what those that know bugger all about decks think
I can of course demo the decks on collection to the luckybuyer, they really are brilliant
Obviously the pool table it sits on, does not come with it, just the decks, mains lead, stand and transit case. I had to say that, as in the past I sold a small machine, and the buyer thought the contents of the whole building in the background were included, including 2 forklifts, benches,cabinets, milling machine, lathe etc, all for 200 quid!!! Yes there are idiots like that out there, but thankfully most of the people that collect decks like these dont fall into that category
This is here to be sold, I dont have to sell it, I have just have woken up and realised why do I need 14 cars, multiple Motor Bikes,and lots of stuff that simply sits there, and at 56 years old, I simply dont need it
