General The Artis 10 is a powerful passive speaker that is equipped with a 10-inch woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency driver. The speaker is suited for many applications and is used in both fixed and mobile installations. The Artis 10 is ideal as a satellite speaker for a PA system with subwoofers, but it can also offer a full-range performance. Provided that it is backed up by a decent amplifier, the Artis 10 can provide a small or medium venue with decent background sound. The neatly designed synthetic housing ensures a representative appearance for any DJ, drive-in show or entertainment venue.
The Artis 10 and its componentsThe Artis 10 is equipped with a 10-inch woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency driver. Due to the 10-inch woofer, the speaker delivers its best performance within the mid-frequency range. As such, it is ideal for speech and light singing applications. Background music is also neatly and clearly reproduced. Anything you find lacking in the low-frequency department can be made up for by an additional subwoofer. The bass reflex port at the front of the speaker provides an extra punch in the mid-low and low frequencies.
Construction of the passive speakerThe Artis 10 is equipped with a lightweight, synthetic housing, which provides it with the necessary sturdiness. The curved lines give it a representative look and a rugged grill protects the woofer from hits and punches during transport. You can easily carry the speaker by the handle on its side. The Artis 10 is fitted with a built-in stand flange, which allows you to mount it on a 35mm speaker stand. It can be secured by means of a locking screw in order to prevent resonance.
