SmartFade ML has professional features like palettes, parameter “fan” and built-in dynamic effects with an easy-to-learn direct-access style of operation. SmartFade ML’s color-coded backlit keys make it easy to operate in the dark, without requiring additional worklights. The keys and built-in LCD displays also provide status feedback for the rig, without the need for an external monitor.

I’m now working on much larger theatre shows and frequently use in-house consoles.
Overall condition of the ML is really good, some very minor marks are visible close up but only though normal use. The only minor issue that I’m aware of is that one of the LED’s lighting a button flickers very occasionally in certain modes but it doesn’t impact at all on any functionality…otherwise it’s “spot on”. (sorry, pun intended …couldn’t resist) :-)
