2x Gemini XL-500 II Direct Drive Turntables with working lids.2x Technics Headshells2x Stanton 500 StylusGemini PS-676 Pro 2 MixerPenn Fabrication Flight Case, built to fit a 10 inch DJ mixer. Cost 150 from Hard To Find Records when I purchased it.3 Power Cables (original L-shaped kettle leads, plus the original standard kettle lead for the mixer).2x Phono + ground leads.

I’ve owned these decks for quite a while, I learnt how to mix on them as a teenager but now it’s time for me to say goodbye just due the fact I need the extra space and I rarely have the time to use them any more.

The turntables work as they did the day I got them, they always have done. The lights work, the pitch controls work, the needles could do with replacing (they’re just worn out, replacements are widely available and cheap) but the Technics Headshells and the Stanton 500 Stylus’ work fine. The hinges on the lids are in great condition (unlike most of the adverts I’ve seen for XL-500’s on eBay), and the lids themselves are “sticker-bombed” with the tons of mountain biking, BMX and music stickers I collected as a teenager/student (I can’t bring myself to take them off!). The tone arms work fine, and the catches to lock the arms in position work, as does the counter weight and lifting mechanism, also the 33/45 buttons work.

The mixer isn’t in the best condition, I’ll admit (think of it as a sort-of freebie with the sale), all the channel’s volume controls work, but the faders crackle a little due to their age , and the bass cut doesn’t completely cut out the bass. Regardless of that, the gains work, the LED volume display works, the beat sync lights work, the master/booth controls work, and as far as I can remember the cross fader works fine too. The mic controls also worked last time I used them. The sampler does work on it but it’s never been great compared to more modern mixers. As a 3 channel mixer it’ll do somebody good as a starter, it did me fine for many mixes at home over the years. Also as you can see a few of the caps from the dials have gone missing. The flight case has got tons of fitment holes in it though so you can easily fit another 10″ mixer in it should you want to.

The Penn Fabrication flight case is in pretty good condition; it’s fairly bomb-proof. I bought it from Hard To Find Records, and I think it was about 150 new. It’s got handles each end, four clips which can be padlocked, and it weighs a fair amount too (it’s rock solid when the lid is on it), your decks will be 100% safe in this. There is marks on it as you can see, but this is just as I bought it to securely move the decks when I moved house a few times. If I must say it looks damn cool having the decks in this too, whether you are moving them around a lot or not.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Collection only from Cheshire, due to the fact they weigh a ton.
