This is a really great little PA – don’t let the size fool you. I’ve just played a room full of more than 100 diners and was clearly audible all the way to the back.
I’ve used it with a band too, in a pub, and it did the job superbly.
The beauty of the ‘line array’ speakers (the tall bit) is that they throw sound very efficiently without blasting out the people close to you.
You get a crystal clear sound from the bass bin and the line array, perfect as an amp for acoustic guitar and voice, as well as for a DJ application.
It’s got a little mixer built in allowing mic (xlr) and line input.
It fits easily in the boot of my tiny Polo, and takes about 10 minutes to set up, just click the components into place and you’re done!
It doesn’t feed back even if it’s right behind the mic. So you don’t need monitors! You and your band mates get to hear EXACTLY what the audience hears.
This little unit is just like the more expensive Bose L1 compact, and other competitors, like Maui, but a lot less expensive, even though it’s solid German design and engineering.
