Great-sounding PA system, consisting of two VPX15 400W speakers and a pair of stands. (These are not RMS ratings but are the figures that StudioMaster quotes in the manual and on the speakers – see photos.) Please note, nothing else in the photos is included in the sale, especially the guitars, AC unit and radiator.
I’m upgrading my PA system to something lighter as I’ve developed sciatica and these speakers are quite heavy. So collection in person only please, though I’m happy to discuss delivery to within a reasonable radius of Brighton (say a half-hour drive each-way) if you’re happy to pay for the petrol. I’m used to lugging these things around.
They have been gigged and so have the usual scuffs and scratches. The front LED doesn’t work on one of the speakers and there is a crack around one of the feet on one of the speakers (see photos), but I’ve only just noticed that. It hasn’t been a problem. The speaker stands work but but are fiddly to put up as I’ve had to do a bodge repair on one. Once up, they’re fine.
These speakers look much more rock ‘n roll than my new ones. Just like a new leather jacket never looks right.
Scuffs and scratches aside, the speakers work fine and are pretty loud.
