You are bidding on a pair of custom-built 15 inch bass cabs. These are rated at 250 watts each and have an impedance of 8 ohms each cab. They are ideal for plugging a bass or keyboard amp into and are very easily transported – perhaps use just one for practice/smaller gigs and 2 for larger requirements ? The cabs are very well made and robust with strong corner protectors and heavy duty handles that are bolted and double-nutted in – not screwed in like most. They would also be ideal for a band PA system – or any kind of mobile sound system for DJ and club/pub use too. For some reason, the cabs are labelled as 120w RMS each – but they contain 250w SoundLab speakers. My best guess is that someone was playing very safe with power-handling levels to ensure they will never get blown – or there’s a slim possibility that the original speakers have been upgraded since the 120w markings were applied – but I don’t think so. ?
Either way, these sound great – very warm and deep and for what they are, do not take up much space at all – I have included a guitar and amp(s) in the photos for scale. They also do not carry a back-breaking weight penalty, so will be easy to transport, particularly if you are only using one for practice/rehearsals/jamming.
