The Pioneer XDJ-R1 is the out of the box, all in one DJ system. Taken from Pinoeer’s industry standard set-up, the XDJ-R1 comes complete with USB playback, two CD drawers, two touch-sensitive jog wheels, a two channel mixer plus multiple effects and performance features. Everything a DJ needs in one portable package.
Simply load in tracks from USB or CD in a range of popular formats including MP3, WAV , AIFF and 24-bit files. Just like the pro-DJ range, tracks prepared in rekordbox can be exported onto USB, allowing DJs to take advantage of features such as the track database, beat grids and Hot Cues. Or they can easily switch to MIDI to control other DJ software on their laptop via wired connection including the free download of VirtualDJ LE with its added abilities of four-channel audio and video mixing capability.
Some of the amazing performance features under the hood of the XDJ-R1 accessed by the intuitive controls are beat sync, auto beat looping, up to three hot-cues on each deck, four beat sampler and quantize to name but a few. To add your own polish on your mix there is also a range of top spec digital effects built into the XDJ-R1 such as noise, pitch, crush and filter FX and there are dedicated buttons on each deck for trans, flanger, echo and roll beat effects with Tap Tempo.
The Pioneer XDJ-R1 may be designed to allow DJ’s to work in even the smallest of booths but does not cut any corners inside or out. There are a range of connectivity options including master Out (XLR), Booth Out, AUX, MIC and dual headphone out. Wireless connection can be made via iPad, iPhone and iPod touch with the remotebox app. All audio signal is processed via the internal 44.1kHz/24-bit soundcard and high performance CPU and the internal circuitry is extremely high-quality for a pristine and powerful sound all of which can be monitored via the VU meters and master out visual reference.
