SENNHEISER 504922 XSW 12 PRESENTATION SET RADIOMIC SYSTEM, 821-865MHz, CH70Offered in a series of packages, these are ‘high-quality’, ‘low-budget’, presentation, vocal, and instrumental systems, ‘offering reliable transmission and excellent sound quality’. The systems are ‘quick and easy to set up’ with automatic search for free frequencies and synchronisation via RF remote channel. ‘Professional True Diversity technology guarantees optimum reception under any circumstances’. Systems are offered with dynamic and condenser hand-held transmitters in addition to belt-pack transmitters with either miniature body-worn or head-worn microphones or for use with electric instruments, such as guitars. Receivers may be mounted in a standard rack, using accessory hardware.These systems are offered set for channel 70 (863-865 MHz), which is the range for license exempt radio microphones and in-ear monitors in the UK. A licence is not required to operate this equipment in channel 70. Up to date information should be available at www.jfmg.co.uk. PLEASE NOTE only the first 4 channels of each frequency bank are licence exempt.Four channels may be operated simultaneously in one location. Eight frequency ‘banks’ are available, each can have a maximum of twelve preset channels. Frequencies may be set manually, in steps of 25kHz, or by selecting a frequency bank and then a preset channel. The receiver may be used to scan for an unused channel within a frequency bank and select it. The settings selected on the receiver can then by transferred to the transmitter by pressing the sync button on the transmitter and then the sync button on the receiver. The receiver has adjustable squelch to reduce RF interference.
