I bought this mic, opened it and have never used it. I also bought the unswitched version which I do use. These are fabulous mics, sensitive, full bodied and equally at home in the studio or on the stage.

And, on the other: a special class for moderators and speakers that allows precise reproduction, even of plosive sounds. The S-version of the e 835 comes with a noiseless on/off switch.
