It tracks better than most, andbeing a high output unit gives music real oomph. Among theknowledgeable, Stanton cartridges exceed their DJ image’ limitations by a hugemargin, and honestly deserve much greater recognition for their sonic prowess.They are robust and durable. Offered here, is aStanton 500 cartridge with original stylus on aTechnics SL-1200 Type headshell. The unitis in superb used condition. It has had moderate use, but looks good and soundsexcellent. It possesses Stantons unerring ability to grab inner groove detail- often absent with other cartridges at whatever price. By happy coincidence,the headshell appears to do it justice, and the combination also looks verysmart! The name sticker is slightly faded, but that’s all. This is an excellent cartridge that would suit any quality turntable.
