You are bidding on an excellent condition Technics 1200 mk2 turntable.
If you are reading this you already know what a workhorse this is.
You will be harder pushed to find as good a condition as this turntable. The pop up light works fine. The motor with the lighting dots across the platter stablises, which is an indicator of the motor working well.
Technics 1200s / 1210s mk2 are increasingly rarer to find in this condition. You can buy a scruffed up one with stickers all over it having been stuck in a record store trying out vinyl on it for 15 years and it can still be reliable enough to soldier on. Or you can buy one that looks fantastic – aesthetic value should be a factor.
Looking at the condition of this and contrasting with other listings this should really be in the 450 bracket.
The only issue is the metal part that raises the tone arm has broken off as you can see in the picture so this means raising the lever does not raise the tone arm. This is a small price as you just have to raise the tone arm manually. Most people do this anyway.
Comes with the spindle adaptor, lid, Technics slip matt, cartridge and stylus, and all necessary cables.
Cash on collection from Peterborough or by Paypal.
Also selling a Pioneer PLX 1000 and Korg Electribe EMX-1.
