The good points …
It’s genuine Revostage, so check out their website for full specification and details (and how much it costs new) but suffice to say, it’s ultra lightweight (one man lift with ease), it packs very flat and compact (this will go in the back of an estate car with ease) and it looks smart in use, is quick to put together and at 20cm high means there is no need for stairs or handrail.
And … you can still get every single part from Revostage as full spares are still sold by them from the UK. It is very much still a current product line.
We have used this system exhaustively for the last 7 years, it works! It sets quick, and 90% of the time we have used it for conferences or themed events, and we especially like the 20cm height.
You can buy higher legs from Revostage if you ever wanted to as legs are inter changable. Also all clips etc. are also available as spares if you ever needed any (we never have)
Easy to store, easy to move, easy to set up and take down.
It all goes together with an allen key (we’ll include one)
The not so good points …
This is well used. It is not new, please look at the pictures to see exactly it’s condition. Admittedly it still looks better than most peoples hire stages or the ones venues have in as the grey carpet is a clever colour for hiding marks and scuffs.
The legs – when new – get “thrown” open (which you shouldn’t do,but everyone does), and these ones need opening a tad slower, keeping eyes peeled for any legs that telescopically flex a bit, and you just tease it into line. So rather than 2 seconds, it probably takes 5 seconds. It’s that quick still.
You can buy new leg inserts but we never bothered as an extra minute to set up a stage never mattered as it is so quick in the first place.
Zoom in to see the carpet, a few tape makes, scuffs, and bit of ruffle. A bit of TLC, brush and glue will do it wonders, but you will have to judge if it is worth that effort.
We take the stance that it’s a stage for walking on and looks better than 90% of staging out there even in this, it’s well used state.
One corner (shown in pic) seems not join perfectly – but we’ve used it like this for ages!) proably a 3mm mini lip for 20cm ish.
We are have a bit of a clearout as we have lots of this stage, and we still use it now in our hire dept., but we have too much to keep storing it.
So there you have it, great opportunity to pick up some revostage
