Apparently used in Recording Studios / Film processing labs etc where the equipment has to be free of Static Electricity – just looks like a little fan but Im sure it is more sophisticated than that .Has a Dental lab look about it ? Looks expensive.Came with other recording item offered .When I got it the lid was still sealed with tape – I was the first to open – contents when opened as shown with blue foam packing.I think the maker may be Scanmatic ( Denmark ) in tiny writing on end label and on equipment .More boldly marked Antistatic-Champ Air Midi .Has UK power supply Transformer marked GN Nettest Further power pack / transformer ? Antistatic Champ Type ApS Denmark Type JM-310Fan unit with same name on – Fan sucks air in -open end is where air comes out – looks unfinished – may fit into something ? Flexible goose neck with clamp ( in sealed bag ) Only minor fault I can see is light surface rust to screw heads on fan grill.Fan works fine .
Im not 100% sure of correct application but appears to work fine I have just switched on to check so has had less than a minutes use in its lifetime .
