All are used but all working nicely.  Some scuffs and scrapes.  The speakers look unusual but sound fantastic.

It’s a mixed bunch.  I just gathered together these items to sell as a job lot and clear some space.  Selling in one auction as a whole – I won’t be splitting these up so don’t ask.  Also the buyer is bidding on the whole lot with the intention of taking away the whole lot – don’t start coming along and saying ‘I only wanted such and such, so here’s 20 quid for it……’  yup this has happened in the past.

Collection from Stoke Newington in North London or I can post for 50 although please be patient as there is a lot to pack up.

Please read the next bit carefully as I am going to point out some minor issues, as much as I can remember.  Please note you are buying these items as they are including all the wear and tear accumulated over the years.

OK the mackie mixer is a 12 channel (8 column) mixer, type 1202-VLZ.  The first 4 channels are mono mic or line and the next 4 are stereo line giving a total of 12 inputs.  There’s also various auxiliary ports in and out.  One of the knobs is not original and there is a little bit of static when turning the gain knob on channels 1 and 2 – this settles down once set.  The mixer has had a repair done to it.  The power transformer developed a fault and had to be replaced which has meant that the phantom power facility for condenser mics is no longer functioning.  So if you want to plug-in condenser mics then this mixer won’t work with them.  Go for dynamic mics – a lot less bother.

The amplifier is a 200 watt DNA brand power amp with traditional convection cooling.  So no noisy fans.  The amp was made by BK electronics and has MOSFET transistors.  100 watts a side is more than enough for a home set-up.

The speakers are a little unusual looking but sound just great.  They are covered in a type of black flock, so it’s not the usual carpet covering.  I have no idea who made them.  I believe the drivers are Mackenzies.  They are 12 inch diameter and can handle about 100 watts. The speakers have crossovers inside and a miniature high frequency driver.  Fairly deep bass and a nice smooth top end.  These two speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms.

The other speaker goes with the bass/keyboard amp.  This is real punchy and can handle about 150 watts at 4 ohms.  This one has a 12 inch Sica (?) driver.

The bass or keyboard amp has a graphic EQ and delivers 100 watts into 4 ohms.  Not a bad amp really, you might be surprised.  It is another Mosfet amp.  The sliders have little lights on them but the first one does not seem to be lighting up any more.  the slider still works though.

Lastly there is the Marshall amp.  This one is the valvestate 8020 amp from the 1990s.  Quite a well respected amp with a good variety of tones.  It doesn’t contain any valves, even though the name might imply it.  It is all solid state, although don’t let that put you off.  It’s a great sounding amp.  20 watts and a 10 inch Celestion loudspeaker.  The amp is working just fine and is in pretty good condition, except for the grille cloth which has a tear in it and a few scuffs.  There’s a few extra sockets on the front of it for sending a signal into the mixer.

Please inspect the photos and ask any questions before the auction ends as I can’t accept returns or discount on these items.  What you see is what you get.  I will include some kettle leads to power everything up.  I can’t help you with additional leads for the mixer apart from what you need to connect it up to the power amp and two speakers.

Selling with no reserve and a starting bid of just 99 pence.

I might be able to post to a remote location such as one of the UK’s islands or a mountain pass, but any additional fees charged by the courier will be passed on to the buyer and must be paid before I can send any item.  Email me with your postcode if you think delivery to your address is going to be a problem, and I can check with the courier first.

Collection from Stoke Newington in north London or standard rate for a delivery to a UK mainland address will be 50.  Please be patient if you want this job lot posting as there is a lot of work involved in packing everything up.

Please take a look at my other auctions.
